Student Led Exhibition
On April 12, 2019 the Maywood Center for Enriched Studies held “Art and Activism”,
a student led exhibition on a variety of topical issues like Climate Change, Gender, Race, Suicide and Depression and many more. Thanks to Art teacher Sonia Hanson who collaborates with the LA Guest Artist Series. Students used traditional media and stencils to create insightful artworks. Here are some distinctive examples.
