Internationally acclaimed artist visited Ms Chloe Palmer’s AP Drawing Class

at View Park High School in the Crenshaw District. Natasha June is native of Johannesburg, South Africa. She uses mixed media and particularly charcoal to create serial portraits that address issues of personal evolution and identity. Her work shows influences of Chuck Close and Warhol among others. “Natasha June: My Life Through My Work.”

Artist Natasha June’s serial female faces represent her influences by Chuck Close and Andy Warhol among others. She discussed biographical and procedural issues in her work during a visit to Ms Chloe Palmer’s AP Drawing Class on 12/5/2018 at View Park Accelerated Preparatory HS in the Crenshaw District of Los Angeles made possible by the LA Guest Artist Series.
